Yes, you are limited to purchasing only four (4) festival passes or travel packages.

Not necessarily! Festival passes are sold individually, so if you're only purchasing festival passes, each person will need their own. However, for travel packages, it depends on the hotel and package size. Travel packages can accommodate groups ranging from 1 to 8 guests, and only one person needs to buy the package for the entire group.

When selecting a package, make sure it suits your group's size. During checkout, only the Lead Guest’s name is required - later on, additional guest names must be submitted through the Guest Dashboard once it's available to the Lead Guest. Be sure to review the pricing options on the Packages page to find the best fit for your group.

Yes, a waitlist may be activated once a package sells out. Please note waitlist packages are not guaranteed packages. The checkout process will be similar to the general purchase process, but you'll clearly see that you are purchasing a waitlist package throughout the process. You'll enter your billing information and choose how long you’d like to remain on the waitlist. After joining, you'll receive an initial confirmation email.

If a package becomes available, the waitlist orders are processed in chronological order. If you’re next in line, you will be automatically charged the full amount and receive a new confirmation email for your purchase. There is no advance notice for when the waitlist might process - it can happen at any time. Payment plans are not available for waitlist orders. All sales are final.

If you change your mind before being selected, you can remove yourself from the waitlist anytime by logging into your Tixr account.

If you’ve already purchased a travel package and your preferred waitlisted package becomes available, we will allow you to change packages only if the new package is of equal or greater value than the original package. In this case, the lesser-valued package will be refunded, and you'll keep the upgraded package. To receive a refund, the Lead Guest name must match exactly on both packages, and Guest Services must be contacted within 24 hours of the waitlist package processing. There are no exceptions to this 24-hour refund window for waitlist orders.

You're welcome to join the waitlist for multiple packages, but please note that all waitlist orders are non-refundable if granted. Travel packages may become available for various reasons at any time before the festival. You can remove yourself from the waitlist anytime by logging into your Tixr account. If you are charged and receive a waitlist package, all sales are final.

During the purchase process, you'll be prompted to enter a Will Call Name (Email and Phone Number). This Will Call Name is considered the Lead Guest and may be different from the Tixr account holder. The lead guest has full authority over the package, and this cannot be changed after the purchase. Lead guests will receive login details for their personal event Guest Dashboard in the coming months. In the Guest Dashboard, lead guests can review package information, submit additional guest names and their flight details, and make hotel room requests.

Definitely! Reach out to 100x HERE with the email address used to purchase your order and share your Order ID, and the last 4-digits of the credit card used on the order. We’ll be able to resend the email.

All additional guest names for each package must be submitted within the Guest Dashboard by Friday, April 11, 2025. After this date, if your request to change a name can be accommodated, there will be a $100 fee to add or change a guest name to your package for check in. If an additional guest arrives at the resort and has not been registered in the Guest Dashboard, they will not be able to check in.

Any changes you request after your purchase is complete, to the extent permitted in our sole discretion, shall result in additional costs.

The hotels may offer extra amenities, such as spa treatments, exclusive dining experiences, off-site adventures, and more, which are not included in your travel package and must be paid for separately by the guest.

Finally, please be aware that all Mexico residents will be subject to a 16% added VAT tax, which will be charged as an incidental to the credit card provided to the resort at check-in. Important: any non-residents who fail to provide their passports and immigration cards to the resort at check-in, will also incur this charge.

We understand the desire to stay close to friends; however, we are unable to accommodate proximity requests. Room assignments are managed directly by the hotel and are based on availability. While we can’t guarantee rooms next to each other, we encourage you to book packages at the same hotel as your friends - a lot of them are smaller properties so you’ll still have shared experiences!

If you’d like to purchase a package as a gift for someone else, enter the gift recipient’s name as the Lead Guest (Will Call Name) during the purchase process. All other guest information will be collected via the Guest Dashboard once that is released.

Viva El Gonzo is an all ages festival; however, to check in to your hotel room included in your travel package, the lead guest must be 18 years or older. Valid photo identification required.

100x abides by each hotel’s policy. There is no guarantee that you will be able to check in earlier than the hotel’s standard check-in time, or check-out late, and any early-check-in or late-check-out fees will be the responsibility of the guest. You can view these times HERE.

If you need to arrive at the hotel early, we will work with the hotel to make sure that your bags can be stored and easily accessible until your check-in time.

If you are traveling from outside of Mexico, you will need to provide your passport and a valid credit or debit card upon check-in. This card will be used to pay for any incidental charges or damages occurred during your stay. This card does not have to be the same card used to purchase your travel package.

All guests may check-in separately and still experience a seamless check-in as long as their names have been added to your reservation in the Guest Dashboard. The hotel may charge a mandatory resort fee at check-in. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking with the hotel directly. Any resort fees will be the sole responsibility of the guest.

Incidentals are a pre authorization that is collected at hotel check in with a credit or debit card. Any unused balance will be automatically refunded. This is collected in case there is any excessive cleaning, smoking or damages done to the hotel room or property, which would be the sole responsibility of the guest.

We chose these hotels not just because they are comfortable and provide a high-quality guest experience, but also because of their close proximity to the festival site. See the distance of each hotel from the festival site on the map below.  Daily roundtrip transportation to and from the main festival site will be provided for all travel package guests.

Travel packages do not include parking or cover parking expenses. To find details and rates for parking, please visit the individual website of the hotel. Please note that 100x is not responsible for any parking fees, which are subject to change, and determined by each hotel.

No need to worry! It’s completely normal for the hotel to not have your reservation details until about 2-4 weeks before the festival. Rest assured, your booking is safe and confirmed with us. As we get closer to the festival date, everything will be sent over to the hotel, and your information will appear in their system. Once the Guest Dashboard is available, you can always confirm your full reservation details there. If you have any concerns in the meantime, we’re here to help!

San José del Cabo International Airport (SJD) is the closest airport to the festival site. Guests may also fly into Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL), but that airport is further away, about one hour.

Yes! Travel packages include transportation to and from San José del Cabo International Airport (SJD) or Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL). Depending on the package you choose, airport transfers are available for arrivals on May 7th or 8th and departures on May 11th or 12th. All flight and passenger details must be submitted through our Guest Dashboard by Friday, April 11, 2025 to ensure a smooth experience.

Keep in mind: The shuttle ride to the hotels offered from San José del Cabo International Airport (SJD) is about 30 minutes and from Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL) it’s about an hour. However, we advise all guests factor in at least 2.5 hours (with the potential of up to 4 hours) to get from the airport, through customs, on the shuttle, and checked in to your hotel.

If you purchased a travel package and want to utilize the roundtrip airport transportation, once the Guest Dashboard is available you can enter your flight details for you and your guests there.

It provides peace of mind and protection against unforeseen circumstances related to trip cancellation, emergency medical expense, trip interruption and delay, baggage, and more. You may also want to check with your credit card company, as some offer travel coverage. Travel insurance is managed by a third party, and claims are settled independently of the Viva El Gonzo team. Coverage specifics can vary depending on the third party and plan level, so it is important to review the details carefully.

The El Ganzo Beach Club is the perfect spot to spend the day soaking up the sun and relaxing at one of the few swimmable beaches in San José del Cabo. Enjoy a variety of fresh seafood and “catch of the day” dishes, while sipping on refreshing cocktails and mocktails!
